FilmSim days at Gunman are suitable for all levels of airsoft player, but are especially aimed at players who want slightly more realism than a skirmish game offers, while still getting plenty of trigger time and a lunch break.

The games usually last for two hours at a time and will contain several objectives and a good amount of trigger time.

Players carry two bandages, when you are shot a team-mate must get to you and apply one of your bandages to get you back in the game. When you run out of bandages you can return to the game by visiting a fixed HQ or a mobile field pack.

You may only take a limited supply of ammunition with you, but can reload at your HQ or mobile field pack at any time.

Being able to work in a team makes a big difference in these kind of games and is often essential to complete objectives.

You may bring any realistic weapon including two-tone guns as long as they do not exceed the site power limits.

Mid-cap magazines are recommended, but hi-caps are welcome within ammo limits.

Rental package includes gun, magazines, full face protection, overalls, pouches and 1000 rounds of ammo. Extra ammo can be purchased if needed.

Our Tuddenham Urban site is an old WWII Lancaster base with 13 playable buildings as well as large open skirmish areas, including a large area of mixed woodland and scrub. The 45 acre site is a mix of CQB and wood/scrub. We have a large brick building housing a shop and space for players' kit. The shop sells a range of airsoft guns and accessories as well as soft drinks and snacks. Complimentary tea & coffee is usually available. We have two portable chemical toilets on site which are emptied every week. We run regular monthly open weekends offering both FilmSim and skirmish airsoft types. We also host many special events throughout the year.

    This month’s theme: Hunger Battle

    How does Hunger battle work?
Think Hunger Games had a love child with Battle Royal…

Every player starts with 100 bbs loaded in mags. There will be a number of areas around the site that are ‘DROP ZONES’ where supplies and resources will get put into the game by the competition staff (Ref). It’s assumed everyone is wearing a collar and if you shoot the refs or break any of the game rules, your head explodes and you have to go ‘THE DEAD ZONE’ where your body has been cloned (regen) and you get put back in the game. Some of these dead zones might be mobile;)

Once you have retrieved your teams ‘Weapons crate’, you can pick up your other weapon/s and ammo up to 600rnds ONLY

Each game is 2hrs long and there is an Ante for gathered resources at the end of it. You will gain points for getting items on your Ante and loose points for ones you didn’t get. The team with the most points wins.

For example, Team Alpha must hand in 2 Blue and one Yellow item. Team Bravo must hand in hand 2 Red and one Blue and Team Delta must hand in 2 Yellow and one Red. Your team gets 1 point for each one you hand in correct and a bonus of 2 points if you get all the ones you needed but loose 1 point for each item you don’t get.

You can raid other teams HQs and steel their resources if yopu like but have only 5 mins to do this.

To make things really interesting, the road that runs through the site MAY have makers to show bridges, that are the only way to cross from one side to the other.

Items will be marked up thus.

    Water – Blue
    Food – Yellow
    Medical – Red
    Ammo crate – Green

Think of it as a training exercise in teamwork, managing equipment and communication.

Then, we just added the crazy game idea.

The teams will be separated and given different color armbands or bandannas to tell each other apart. We will run between 3-5 teams, depending on numbers on the day.
